Hygienic Air Handling Unit (AHU)

Air handling units boast superior hygienic characteristics, certified by TÜV. Unlike standard units, these hygienic AHUs are entirely constructed from stainless steel for internal surfaces, heating and cooling coil frames, filter frames, and drain pans. Special joints and coverings eliminate bacteria prone gaps, while an easy to clean design and siphon drainage system prevent leaks and contamination. Fans are elevated for easier cleaning, and optional EC motors or inverters allow airflow control. Backward-curved fans are preferred for disinfection compatibility. Inspection windows and factory installed lighting enable full internal visibility. Horizontally placed stainless steel sound attenuators with clearance beneath allow easy washing.
